The Dwarf Wars...

As the world took its shape, life forms began to use their keen knowledge and breeding rights to populate the known world. Magic and mystery surrounded all life forms that were to populate the vast tracks of lands. Their Gods gave them land and life to follow and that they did. The first to populate through the land was the first race "the Elves." The Elves tended to stay near or directly inside the confines of forest areas everywhere on the globe. Next came the Dwarven race. They settled within the most mountainous regions of the globe. The next race was a dear kin to the Elves called the Gnomish. These demi-humanoids lived among the Elves as well as on their own in deep valleys of lush and fertile lands called shires.

Time passed as these three grew strong in relations as well as power. The next race that came into the world were the humans. The humans rapidly spawned and grew in every region of the world. They eventually moved into occupied lands of the first three races. War fueled the minds of the Elves against the expansionists humans. Soon all of the races and their peoples would unite among themselves and form crude governments.

Queen Diarawa of the Elvin kingdom of Diortha used her magic to lure red dragons from their long slumber. She was over zealous in her hatred of the human infidels and wanted nothing more than to drive them into the earth. Her army was weak beyond that of the red dragons but she was devious in her sleuth planning. She contracted a foul group of mercenaries and sent them out on an auspicious mission to get the attention of the known world. Kill them, kill them all, no survivors!” she exclaimed to her assailants.

Throughout the realm human townships were attacked, burned and looted. Word spread of the perpetrators of this hellish deed. At a proposed summit with all the major leaders of the four races Queen Diarawa quickly put the blame solely on the Dwarven race. They were sloppy, she says and here is the proof! The queen quickly motioned to her guards. A dainty man was brought before the assembly. The queen then stood up and exclaimed a survivor of the hellish hoards who murdered the innocent in their beds! The man was dirty and bore wounds abound him. With a stuttered introduction he spoke to the assembly. They. they the dwarves. eh. they killed us like pigs with their axes. Revenge……… Revenge to the honor thy fallen family! The man suddenly fell to the ground with his last words. The human delegation roared in disapproval and quickly left the room exclaiming revengeour Gods will have revenge!

The dwaven leaders appealed to the remaining delegation that they were innocent of this accusation and quickly tried to blame a fledgling new race that was scattered around the globe. The dwarven leader, Theron Ironscold, son of Thuron, spoke of a new race that was popping up in unusual spots. The creatures we call orcs have been spotted everywhere but their numbers are a mystery. They did this, exclaimed Theron. The queen gave her disapproval of the human raids but quickly gave her allegiance to the Dwarves and their impending war with the humans. With your Axe and our Bows we will crush the humans! exclaimed the Queen.

The Gomish leader Calcert of Tolbru, stood up and slowly peered around the room and softly spoke. War will Bind usWar will destroy us. War will End us! My people will have no part of this.  Calcert then slowly withdrew from the delegation hall.

The Elvin and Dwarf war pact united the two races into a pledge to annihilate the human races expansion and further investigate the response to the new Orc race. What lay ahead of them was a war like no other. The humans were cunning and ferocious and soon the elven Capitol of Diortha was besieged. The dwarves were hounded into the earth into an underground way of life. In a last ditch attempt Queen Diarwa summoned her dragons and unleashed them onto the humans.

Both worlds collided into a fiery hell. The Gods rumbled and roared above the battlefields. The races were to pay for their infidelity towards their Gods. The gods brought the rain of the heavens and hell down upon those below. Six under deities were chosen to govern the future races of the world of Anwynn. They would see that no wars of this magnitude would ever happen again.

The rise of Death

Almost immediately, the Dwarf wars were discontinued and the under deities met to govern their races. It was decided that the humans would have two under deities to govern them for their power and prow less. Lathos would govern the Elvin kingdom and the Gnomish would have Ornous. Flamut graciously took the Dwarvin Kingdom. Enwoi would have the honor of being the first to lead the new Orc race. Guerin and Tristan would have the power of the humans.

From the beginning the under deities got along as well as could be expected. Getting to know their races was enjoyable for sum but for most a tiresome task. For the most part after lengthy time each let their peoples resume normal life without intervention. The Orcs seamed to grew as much as the human populations and the lesser three withdrew into their refuges. The Dwarves burrowed deep into the earth and created a vast underworld kingdom. Enwoi faded as the Orcs expanded. The Orcs grew tired of Enwoi as he continuously neglected them. Tristan though, knew of the possibilities of these races. There was an ample amount of magical powers beyond what these deities possessed on the land below. Tristan began to enter the earth plain and dwell amongst some of the darker ambitious humans and became an idol to them. Soon the dark ones would influence Tristan to take what was rightfully his. The dark ones soon won over their idol and Tristan soon denounced Guerin and solely took over the human race as his own. Tristan was relinquished of his duties as under deity and expelled to the under world to live alone forever.

Guerin took over the human race again and Tristan was not heard from for a thousand years. One thousand years to the mark, Tristan returned with a new race. His race evolved and spawned from him. Tristians darkness consumed them. From the murk of the fiery hells came the undead race. They were neither living nor dead.

And so the story begins......................
