February 18, 2007 ~ So.California Wirehaired Pointer Club, Caslte Butte Area, Cal City, CA  This was only "Oochee's" fourth run of her life!!! She came out strong and never let up. She made an impressive move over the rise on the right then miunutes later we found her moving 3/4 of the way up the hill at 12 o'clock. She worked the ridge then as she made her mof the hve down she came on point. This was a first bird shot. We had a running bird that took me all the way to the base oill,  they finally shot it on the gound. I couldn't see Oochee so I just sent her where I stood. Nice manners, nice retrieve!. Oochee continued her assault of the hills and greaswoods, they called time as she was at 12 o'clock moving forward!! I know she had to be in the money, this was too nice .She was declared the winner at the end of the day. This was Wendig Haus's second 5 point major win. Hunter & Samson came close; Jessie won our first 5 pointer way back in 2000. Oochee was handle by Genaro

2 Clean Runs FIRST Field trial ~ Wendig Haus’ Final Conclushn ~ January 21&22, 2007 ~ California Brittany Club, Caslte Butte Area, Cal City, CA  "Oochee" gave us Two very nice clean runs this weekend. Her First run she gave us a very nice find up in the rcks and an impressive blind retrieve, Her second run she gave us a very nice 50 foot find and a 100 + foot retrieve. She had two clean find the second time around. We didn't place but I was very pleased with her performance. Oochee was handle by Genaro

NEW NAME!! Wendig Haus’ Final Conclushn ~ Oochee is finally AKC legal December 2006. We Registered her and she is being broke for field trial competition. She is making steady progress. We plan on bringing her out in January.

Sunday ~ Samson & Sophie placed 1st & 2nd in the 17 Dog OGD stake ~ The judges told us that they were going back and forth between our two dogs right up until the end of the call back.

Weekend ~ On Saturday, Samson won the 12 dog Amateur Gun Dog Walking stake (2pts) & ran his horseback OGD brace. On Sunday did the call back for retrieve, then was declared the winner of the 17 Dog Open Gun Dog stake (3pts)  How's that for versatility?

His easy handle impressed the judges. On the call back, they missed his first bird, and he retrieved a hard hit second bird to hand. This was a nice 17 dog Open Gun Dog stake for 3 points: handled by Genaro

In the call back, she gave us a nice up and back retrieve to take second to Samson in this 17 dog Open Gun Dog stake; handled by Genaro

California - February 25, 2006, AWGD (12 dogs) ~ "Samson" covered the big hill in front 3x's before we even got to the base. at 18 minutes he made a big 2 to 1 o'cloc k move, you would have thought he was being horse handled!  We didn't see him again until we found him standing at 12 o'clock at the far end of the bird field, head high...."what a nice sight that was!!!".... He again retrieve a nicked bird that gave him trouble, but handled it well to polish off this winning performance. Samson is Owned & Bred by Leslie Vargas and was handled by Genaro
, scouted by Leslie. Both Leslie & Genaro broke & trained Samson to this level of competition.

2nd Place -  Wendig Haus’ Blazin’ Impact MH ~ February 12, 2006 ~ GSP Club of San Diego, San Jacinto Wildlife Area, CA ~ "Samson" in the heat of the day & gusty winds came through with a very strong run, had 4 finds plus an honor. In the call back, he showed off his nose with a 40 foot find then completed the retrieve very nicely. This as a nice 22 starter Open Gun Dog stake:  handled by Genaro

1st Place -  Wendig Haus’ Blazin’ Impact MH February 11, 2006 ~ GSP Club of San Diego, San Jacinto Wildlife Area, CA ~ "Samson" gave us a nice strong  run, with  two finds, the first find was on the finger of the hill with a nervous backing dog.  His second bird was a 12'o clock find in the flats. On the call back, his flapping bird gave him trouble but he completed it. This was a competitive 19 dog Amateur Gun Dog stake for second 4 point major: handled by Genaro

NEW MASTER HUNTER - Wendig Haus’ Blazin’ Impact MH (DC Wendig Haus’ Forgon Conclushn CD MH x Wendig Haus’ Major Impact CD MH) Desert Brittany Club Of Arizona, Buckeye, AZ - December 17, 2005,   "Samson" had a 2 bird find with one bird flushing back in front of him, he gave us a nice up and back BLIND retrieve, honored twice to earn his 6th and final leg to finish.  It only took him 8 runs. 2nd Place - Wendig Haus’ Blazin’ Impact ~ November 20th, 2005 So California German Wirehaired Pointer Club FT, Cal. City "Samson" gave us an even stronger run, then yesterday. We had to overcome some difficult situations caused by the opposing handler, nevertheless, Samson handled it beautifully. On the call back, the first bird flew over Samson's head so we blanked it and tried it again. The second was a straight shot and Samson again gave us a nice up and back second 30 yard retrieve of the weekend. This was large 36 dog  Open Gun Dog stake:  Handled by Genaro, this placement earned Samson 2  Open points plus the 4 earned yesterday for 6 points for the weekend!

Hunter wins Dual-ble in LaCruse NM. On Saturday, he was top dog in first brace and Wons the 24 dog Open Gun Dog stake. On Sunday he came back stronger to win the 8 dog ALGD stake. Impressively he was Foot handled at this big horseback trial to the Double Win !!!  These wins Finished our quest for the Dual Champioship. Hunter is first Show Champion, our second Dual Champion, third Open Field Champion.

4th Place "Hunter" November 23, 2002 Desert GSPC of Arizona, Cordes Junction, AZ: Hunter took 4th Place in the 28 dog Open Gun Dog stake. Handled by Genaro
3rd Place ~  "Hunter" November 24, 2002 Then came back to take 3rd   in the 15 dog Amateur Limited Gun Dog Stake. No points but not  a bad weekend. I was very proud of Hunter's performances.  Handled by Genaro

2nd Place Twice "HunterSeptember 28-29, 2002 Orange Coast Weimaramer Club  FT, Castle Butte Area, California City:  Hunter again, placed 2nd in both the OLGD and ALGD stakes. We were beat in the OLGD stake but have to question the placements in the ALGD stake. Hunter out ran the winner who he was braced with, he gave us four nice finds and an impressive honor and his reward, second place ??? So, the march goes on. Leslie handled Hunter both times

2nd Place Twice  "Hunter"  September 21-22, 2002 GGGSC Walking FT, Little Panoche Wildlife Area:  Hunter placed 2nd in both the ALGD and OLGD stakes. In 100 plus degrees weather, Hunter was the only dog to give a full 40 and 30 minute runs per outing had a combined 9 finds, an Honor, two clean retrieves . . . I guess he needed to walk on water for a win. O/H/T:   Leslie

4th Place "Hunter"   March 10, 2002 GSPC of San Quaqin Valley, Button Willow:  Amateur Gun Dog:  A strong run, two back course finds, plus two in the bird field, a clean retrieve, and all manners in order earned him a controversial 4th Place in the 15 dog stake. O/H/T: Leslie

2nd Place "Hunter"   March 3rd, 2002 GSPC Riverside County, Cal. City:  Open Gun Dog, A strong run, three back course finds and a football field retrieve earned Hunter 2nd place in the 25 dog stake. This brings Hunter within three points of his Field Title. O/H/T: Leslie

City: Open Derby, WE WON!!! - With three nice finds and she held to shot on each gave "Sophie" the First Place win. 4th Place  "Jessie"  January 13, 2002 Vizsla Club of SC, Cal. City: Open Gun Dog, Jessie had a very nice run with a 12-O-clock find on the side of the Hill to earn 4th place out of a field of 27 starters. O/H/T: Genaro.

#25 AGD RANKING " Jessie"  Year End Final Field Standings: Jessie finished #25 Amateur Gun Dog for 2001. Not bad since she only ran four times all year long. Jessie was ranked 7th in the second quarter, then 9th in the third quarter but was never put on the list either time. Jessie ran four times; placed 3rd twice, 2nd once and won one.

First WIN"Jessie" WON the Amateur Gun Dog Stake to finish her Amateur Field Champion title: A field of 16 starters (3 points).  As top dog in the first brace, her impressive bird work held her on for the win.

Hours later with a spectacular run along with an on the edge point, Jessie came back to WIN the 13 dog Open Limited Gun Dog Stake (her second 3 point major of the day!) Jessie is now one (1) point shy of her Field (Dual) Champion title. O/H/T: Genaro.
