Deaths: Bessie F Faulkner

   
   Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Faulkner,94, Route #1 Henderson, died Monday
   morning at a local nursing home.

   A Vance County native, she was the daughter of the late Ned and Rosa
   Faulkner, and the widow of Howard Vernard Faulkner Sr.

   She was a life long member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church where she
   taught sunday school for the adult ladies and was a member of the
   Womans Missonary Union.

   Funeral sevices will be held at the New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by
   the Rev. Steve Bass, the Rev A. B. Greene Jr. and the Rev. Neil Woodlief.

   Burial will be in the church cemetery.

   Mrs. Faulkner is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Ayscue,
   Mrs. Doris Ayscue both of Henderson and Miss Maria Faulkner of
   Newnan, Georgia.

   Four sons, Cecil U. Faulkner, Howard V.Faulkner Jr., Allison R.
   Faulkner, all of Henderson and Jerry A Faulkner, of Oxford; three
   sisters, Mrs. Lillian Faulkner Faulkner, Mrs. Rozelle F. Robertson, both
   of Henderson, and Mrs. Mary F. Hoyle Of Burlington; and 18 grand
   children, 33 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

   The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 pm today at the J.M.
   White Funeral Home and at other times at home on the Faulkner Town
   Road on Roue #1 Henderson.

   Active pallbearers will be C.F. Ayscue, Robert F. Fuller, Jeffery
   Fuller, Howard V. Faulkner 111, Robert F. Faulkner, Linwood Faulkner,
   Daryl J. Faulkner, Barry U. Faulkner, A. Keith Faulkner, and Brandon H.
   Faulkner.
