2004--- A Year In Review

It seems like yesterday that we were celebrating 2004 and here it is 2005. Alot has happened, as well it should in a year gone by. Below is a little taste of what has happened to our family over the past year

DON ---- Still working at A&P Auto Parts and still enjoying it. There's always problems here and there but still likes working on the cars. This year Don and his buddy from work Danny raced Dannys car in the "Hooters Cup". They got to a few races but because of no sponsership they didnt get to many. This coming year, Danny got a new "ride", he's driving for someone else and they will get to all the races. Don will be helping out as well. A dream come true for him. He's really excited!
WENDY----I'm still working at American Music however, I have moved to the Coporate Building in Liverpool, NY. Much closer to home and alot quieter. No more rental nights in the fall, so I can be home to help Ryan with his homework. Im very happy with that, except I do miss the overtime.
COURTNEY----Courtney is now in 8th grade. She is in a new school this year. Durgee Jr. High. Wow, I cant beleive she is in Jr. High already. Its amazing. She is doing well in all her subjects and is taking a language this year. She chose French and is doing very well. She turned 14 this year and is nearly as tall as I am, must be the Ethington Genes. She tried out for Volleyball this year but didn't make it. There were over 150 girls trying out. I told her to keep practicing and now that she knows what is expected of her she will be ready next year. She decided not to play flute this year as well. I was a little disappointed but she is her own person and she will decided what she wants to do. We are all very proud of her. She is still in braces and hopefully this year she will get them off. She's looking foreward to that.
CHRISTOPHER----Chris is 13 now and in 8th grade as well. He moved recently from East Syracuse to Camillus. Now he is attending West Genesee school District. He joined the Pop Warned football team this past fall and loves it. Wow, a Keaney playing football, who would have thought it. His voice changed this year as well,he sounds like and adult. Cant beleive he is getting so old. They are growing up so fast. He will be helping his Dad as well with the racing this year.
RYAN----This year Ryan turned 11 years old. He is in a new school as well. Ray Middle School. He loves it and is still receiving lots of help from the Resourse staff at the school, he has alot more responsibility now and seems to be hanging in there, he tries so hard. He is attending ESP two days a week after school and that helps him with his homework which in turn helps me, I certainly struggle with the math and science. He has continued with his soccer and loves it. He is in a older group now and they are a little more rough, he seems to enjoy that. (I dont) anyway he loves it and will continue with that until he can do that in school. He also decided not to play trumpet this year. It was just too much with his work schedule in school. He no longer wears his retainer and is next in line for braces.

Thats it for this year. Hope everyone has a Happy Healthy New Year!
