In the land, there lives a monster,
So ugly and menacing this ogre,
Smashing houses, flats, buildings
Taking people everywhere.Big as a house, and twice as heavy,
Jumps in the air, crashing down on things
You never know if it's going to hit you
From the sky it falls like nightPeople scream as it falls again,
Smashes buildings, people, cars.
It's mighty slavering teeth eat at anything
Metal, plastic, fabric, PEOPLE!!Ravishing the land, this ghastly thing
It moves with speed and little grace,
Slovenly, fat, propelled by its flatulance!
Nothing can stop it, even a missile. Then, as hope is lost, a gleaming streak!
Cuts a fine line across the sky,
Makes a beeline for the monster,
Strikes it dead centre.A fantastic, brand new weapon
The opto-carbonic voltalaser!
A laser of such fangoric power.
Blows the dreadful monster to bits
