This is a really great site. I loved the show and still love it, but I haven't been able to find it lately. A few years ago I found it for the first time in years on the cable channel "f/x". Not long after it was on TVLand. I was watching it everyday or quite a while and managed to get every episode on tape. Anyway I love your site!

I watched Family Affair when it came on TV Land. I'm only 19 years old, so I wasn't born when it was on the air for the first time. I did watch the E! True Hollywood Story on Anissa Jones. It was sad to see that she died at 18 and maybe if she straightened her life out, she would be here today. R.I.P. Anissa 1958-1976.

Great site! I marked this as one of my favorites a long time ago and now took a few minutes to look and was surprised to see this great site! A wonderful friend of mine learned of my love for Mrs. Beasley and proceeded to collect a ton and I mean a ton f pieces of the Family Affair collection. I have duplicates of some things if anyone is interested, please e-mail me. Things from cookbooks to the lunch box. My collection is incredible. Many brand new, never been cut out or colored items. I can't belie e no one has every played with them! Keep up the good work on this site - I'll keep tuned!

I have in my personal video collection, many of the shows, which to my wifes chagrin, I watch with some frequency.I was looking for information on Brian Keith and Sebastian Cabot.I had heard quite some time ago that Brian Keith had shot himself after suff ring with some sort of terminal disease.I remember Sebastian Cabot being replaced on a number of the shows, but can't remember if it was permanant.Family Affair certainly has to rank high when it comes to good clean family entertainment.I believe this typ of entertainment is what those of us raised during those years truly miss these days.

I was born four weeks before "Family Affair" debuted (also on the same night "The Monkees" premiered), so I knew little about the show. I really didn't catch it until I moved from New Jersey to Phoenix in the early '70s when it reran. But by then, my memo y of FA was pretty vague.Finally I was able to catch the reruns first on F/X by 1996 and later TV Land, which I now wake up to each morning. I have enjoyed many of the episodes very much, especially the ones involving Buffy and Jody---they're cute kids. I myself am an uncle to two nieces and a nephew. Like many I was saddened by the untimely death of Anissa Jones (Buffy). I saw the E! special on her and learned that her dad and brother also passed away. Just like Sebastian Cabot and Brian Keith. Poor Aniss left us too early. She was a great talent who will be missed dearly.

It has been a long time, but Jody's father was my homeroom teacher at Pacoima Jr High School. Mr. Whitaker. The first thing his son did on television was star in a Good and Pleanty Candy television commercial. I remember his father was proud and brought a small tv to class so we could all see his son's first acting job. The Whitaker's actually lived in a fairly poor part of town even when John (I think that is his name, it has been a long time)was acting in Family Affair. I had a friend in their neighborho d, and occasionally talked to John.

I am only 15, but I watch Family Affair on TV Land. I really enjoy the show and I love little Buffy Davis and her mod clothes. I especially remember the episode where she was trying to become part of the "Mod Maidens" clique. I watched the E! True Holl wood story about her last April and I was sad to find out she had died at only 18. You have a great and very informative site! I will definitely bookmark it!

I looked a couple years ago and never found a Family Affair site. Was delighted to finally find yours. I love the theme music and had many interesting memories from the show. I remember Cissy as a candy striper and the unforgettable trip to Tahiti ; wa n't Cissy's boyfriend there too? I always loved the apartment too, and how the kids' only recreation seemed to be an occasional game of Stickball. And what about the time Jody, on a dare, tried to clip Mr. French's beard? My cable company doesn't have TVLand so I haven't seen the show in years. Seeing your Website has been great fun. I'd like to comment about Sigmund. Pamelyn Ferdin (who has always been one of my favorites) was not a regular on that show, though she may have guested. She was a regular on the Krofft show Ark II. My fondest memories of her were from the syndicated La sie in the 70s, her guest appearances on many shows including the Brady Bunch, in the one where Jan wore a wig, and as the voice of Lucy in Peanuts. (Her character was also named Lucy on BB and Lassie.) Thanks again for this great site. Gabriel

I love your "Family Affair" site! It's terrific, and I've bookmarked it. I was searching for "Family Affair" websites, in the library at school earlier, when I ran into yours. I have adored "Family Affair" since I was 7 years old. I watched it after schoo everyday, and it became one of my favorite shows right away. I also have a Mrs. Beezley doll from my childhood. I had the most enormous crush on Uncle Bill. I thought he was the ideal, perfect man. I still love to watch him hug and kiss the kids. It's a onderful show- the most adorable ever made. Great website! I remember watching "Family Affair" as a kid (when I was about 6 or 7 years old) and I enjoyed it. When TV LAND started showing "Family Affair" again I wanted to see if the show held up over the past 30 years. Much to my surpise it has h ld up very well. As a matter of fact the show has more meaning to me now than it ever did in the past. It is especially poignant to see how much "Uncle Bill" loved "Buffy" and remembering the death of Anissa Jones. Sometimes I wonder if Anissa had a fa her like "Uncle Bill" things might have been different. If I every become a father I hope I can be like "Uncle Bill". Just a few thoughts. Thanks.
