I have never been with you
And come away empty hearted
Every encounter brings something special
A few precious words to believe
Some courage to help me along
Comfort and understanding
A little more knowledge
A smile

Your there for my tears
As well as my laughter
You listen to my troubles
As well as my triumphs
Your there when I need you
Without my asking
You walk beside me
And share your dreams
You give your heart with joy
As you accept mine with pleasure
There are no simple words
No special ways to express
How much you mean to me
