Night Sky

A Streams of gold and crimson passion

Pour down past the fervent bulging clouds

Brilliant arrays of color fall upon the cold pavement of man.

The dark night's misty aura pushes its head

Over the other side of the world.

The ashen bulbous clouds grow and contort with anger,

Ominously watching over the world.

Day comes to an end and the air is chilling.

A distant crackle pounds across the sky

Forcing a bright flash down into the earth.

A darkened blaze erupts through the verdant flora.

Some life is thrown down while other life is pushed out;

Out from under its safe haven of growth.

Deer and squirrel scatter. Man hides.

Silly deer and squirrel, and silly man.

For there is no escape from Life.
