Bleach Bottle Santa


Materials:

Bleach bottle
White Yarn
Red Felt
Glue
2 eyes, black felt or buttons or googley eyes
Tool to make holes in bottle
Wire
1/4 yard red material
14 inches curly chenille
Material for Mrs. Santa collar
Bell


Instructions:

Cut the bottle in half. Decide what size you want the face to be and make a circle with a pencil. Make holes around the circle. Cut the flesh felt in a circle and glue to the bottle. Insert the white yarn, leaving 2" on the lower holes and 1" of yarn on the upper holes. String the yarn in and out of each hole (this makes the beard and hair line).

Add on the eyes and mouth if you have one. Make sure you have yarn going across the mustache. Take the red material and make a triangle hat, at the tip of the hat add a bell. With the red felt cover the backside of the bottle; stretch a piece of wire across the back so you can hang your Santa. Attach the wire to each side securely. Glue on the red hat and glue red chenille for the rim of the hat. To make a Mrs. Santa, omit the beard, mustache and add a collar.
