-Each year the Alabama Vocal Assoctiation hosts the Alabama All-State Choral Festival. Over 4,000 students try-out each year for different choirs. They are: Middle School SATB, Middle School SSA, High School SSA, High School TTBB, and High School SATB. The students who successfuly sing their part, use the right dynamics, and sing on pitch, and make it will travel to Birmingham in March, stay three days, and preform the last day.
Young Voices Festival:
-Young Voices is another honor choir similar to All-State, but for this honor choir you audition for your choir director. I f you make it you will travel to Young Vocies which is usually held in Auburn.
Solo & Ensemble Festival:
-Solo & Ensemble Festival is when you may sing a solo, duet, trio, quartet, quintet, or in a small ensemble. An ensemble is a group of two or more people. You rehearse a song then audition for a judge. If you recieve a one rating you will recieve a medal.
