I have kept my two favorite pairs. You can view their pedigrees. and see what you think of my line of birds. The key to breeding good birds is finding birds that compliment one another and then raising them in the middle of life. My birds are raised in semi open chambers few feet away from a large dog and a small dog. They are raised to 16-20 weeks of age. All of my birds that have been flown for falconry have been well recieved. The comments on their condition of feather and feet, their gaminess, and their demeanor and personality have all been great. I just got a report in from a fellow that flew a female from this past year's hatch and she caught 403 head of game in her juvenile year. These birds can get it done! I flew a great bird this year from my Crash pair. His name was Daniel and I believe him to be as good of a Harris Hawk as a person could ask for. He caught quail, cottontails, pigeons, jacks and almost caught a pheasant.
My other pair has two great birds together too. Brutus is the sire. Brutus used to sit on his perch at home and you could literally walk by and scratch his head like a dog. He is the nicest HH I have ever seen. He also would beat a female to a squirrel almost every time. I quit flying him after a bad squirrel encounter during his first year. I am SO excited to have him back in my breeding program. He is paired up with New Sadie who's mother is famous amongst falconers for here gaminess
