J. D. Edwards, for 17 years owner of the Edwards Dairy, retail milk business, died at his home, 80 East Lincoln street, on Friday evening of last week from complications resulting from an illness which lasted several months. He was 63 years old.
Funeral services were held at the residence on Sunday afternoon after which the body was placed in the mausoleum in Otterbein cemetery by G. W. Stockdale & Son.
Mr. Edwards was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, Knights of Mathias, Masons, Odd Fellows and Grange.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Edwards; his parents, Mr. And Mrs. A. D. Edwards, corner Main and Vine streets; and a sister, Mrs. H. B. Shaffer, Jackson, OH.
