Park E. Dill, 45, Westerville insurance man, died Monady at his home on West Main street after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church, of which he was a member, in charge of the pastor, Rev. William L. Steffens, assisted by Rev. F. B. McIntosh of First Methodist church, Columbus, and Rev. George H. Heiser, both former local pasters. Entombment was made in the Otterbein mausoleum. The body lay in state for one hour at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Dill maintained an office on North State street until several months ago when he moved his business to his residence.
In addition to the Methodist church, Mr. Dill was a member of Blendon lodge No. 339, F. & A. M.; past patron of Mizpah chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge No. 273.
Surviving are the widow, Clara; a brother, Joseph F. Dill of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Arch L. Yost of Columbus; aunt, Mrs. W. E. Burwell of Sunbury road, and three nieces and two nephews. His father, W. E. Dill of Grandview, died two weeks ago.
