Funeral Services Today
at 3 P.M. at Residence
Nelson E. Wilkin, aged 73, lifelong resident of Franklin County and a pioneer hardware merchant of Westerville died at his home, 83 N. Vine St., Tuesday, following a long period of ill health.
Mr. Wilkin was born in Plain Township but has resided in Westerville for the past 40 years. He was one of the organizers and a charter member of the Westerville Roque Club. He was also a member of Blendon Masonic Lodge, Horeb Chapter and Zabud Council.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the residence. Rev. Herbert White of Columbus, brother of Rev. J. Chester White, will officiate. Burial will be made in Otterbein mausoleum in charge of G. W. Stockdale & Son.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Retta B. Wilkin; three sons, Ora F. Wilkin, Payette, Idaho; L. R. Wilkin, Westerville; and C.D. Wilkin, at home; a daughter Miss Esther Wilkin, at home; four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Harrison, Newark.
