John C. Freeman Dies
In Columbus Hospital

John C. Freeman, 73, director and former vice-president of the Citizens Bank died Saturday in Univeristy Hospital following a short illness.
Services were conducted in the Methodist Church Tuesday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. George Parkinson and the Rev. Thomas Adshead.
Entombment was made in the Otterbein Mausoleum by the Moreland Funeral Home.
A retired clothing merchant, Mr. Freeman operated a store on State Street for more than 40 years. He recently has been associated with the federal rent control office in Columbus. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Shrine, Knight Templar and Mizpah Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ada Freeman; a son, Harold Freeman; a daughter, Mrs. Releaffa Bowell, Dayton; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clifford Gooding, Lewis Center; Mrs. Henri Schick and Mrs. Don White, Columbus; one brother, Clayton Freeman, also of Columbus.
