Ida O. Freeman, age 96, of Westerville, Oh, Wednesday, August 4, 1999 at home. Graducate of McArthur High School in 1921, and the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 1923. Former music teacher in West Jefferson and Westerville Schools. Honoary Alumnus of and Benefactor to Otterbein College, Westerville, Oh. Former president of the Westerville Music Club. Member of 1st Presbyterian Church, Westerville, Oh. Preceded in death by husband Harold of 66 years, son John and daughter-in-law Margaret. Beloved mother of Dr. William (Sheila) Freeman., Westerville, treasured grandmother to Gretchen (Jon) Hargis, Lebanon, N.J., Karen (Mike( Sewell, Pickerington, Oh., David (Dawn) Freeman, Dayton, Oh., Pamela (Mark Chaffin, Lewis Center, Oh., Cheryl (John) Hill, Columbus, Kathryn (Suki) Swepston, Englewood, Fla., sister-in-law, Releaffa Bowell, Palm City, Fla.; 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, August 6, where service will be heldat 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7. Rev. Dr. Richard Ellsworth and Rev. Mark Gauen officiating. Entombment Otterbein Mausoleum.
