McLEOD RITES

Removed to Grant Hospital Thursday evening for treatment of a heart ailment, Clarence A. (Shine) McLeod, age 58, died Sunday morning at the hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at his home, 120 Summit St., where he had lived his entire life.
Rev. Murray Drysdale officiated, and the American Legion was in charge of the ritual for entombment at the Mausoleum in Otterbein Cemetery.
A life-long resident of Westerville he was graduated from the local high school and Otterbein college. A veteran of World War I, Mr. McLeod had been employed at Kilgore Manufacturing company for a number of years. He was an outstanding bowler and belonged to two leagues, the Legion and S and A, bowling each week at the Masonic Alley. He bowled Tuesday evening.
Surviving are a brother, Miles O. McLeod of Westerville and a sister, Mrs. Luella Clark of Columbus; five nephews and one niece. Charles McLeod is a surviving nephew. His mother died one year ago.
