He Was Plumber
Here 45 Years
Edward W. Reese, a plumber in for the past 45 years, died at his home, 86 East Broadway, Tuesday, morning, following an illness of several months. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, in the First Evangelical United Brethren church, with Rev. Millard J. Miller in charge of the service.
A native of Pomeroy, Mr. Reese, age 72, had been living here since 1902. He attended to his plumbing business until this fall when he retired on account of ill health. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, Blendon Grange, the Pythian Sisters and the First Evangelical United Brethern church.
His wife died two years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Otto Wilson and a son, Dr. E. E. Reese and four grandchildren.
Entombment was in the Otterbein Mausoleum by Fichner Funeral Home.
