To Be Today For
Mrs. Courtright
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. today at the Wagner Memorial E. U. B. Church, 1008 Oakwood Ave., in Columbus, for Mrs. Robert E. (Ada) Courtright, former Westerville resident for seven years, and mother of Monroe Courtright, 2800 Walnut Road.
Mrs. Courtright died early Tuesday morning in Mt. Carmel Hospital, following a major operation. She had been seriously ill for less than a week.
A native of Baltimore, Ohio, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Wagner. Soon after her marriage, the family moved to Columbus and resided there until they moved to Westerville in 1937. In 1944 the family moved back to Columbus and three years ago Mr. and Mrs. Courtright moved to 79 Chase Avenue in Worthington, where they presently reside.
She was a member of the Mizpah Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine of Jerusalem and was active in Unit No. 6 of the Salvation Army.
Besides her husband and son, Mrs. Courtright is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John Stewart, 188 Kelso Road, Columbus; two granddaughters, Kristy Lee and Karla June Courtright, and one grandson, Bobbie Stewart.
Following the services at the church, conducted by Rev. W. E. Jones, the body will be brought to Westerville for entombment in the Otterbein mausoleum under the direction of Jerry Spears.
Friends may call at the funeral home until 11 a.m. this morning after which the body will be taken to the church where friends may call until time for the services.
