OBITUARY
Herbert Raymond Schrock, the third child of a family of six children of Vause and Margaret Schrock was born on June 24th, 1878, in Blendon Township, near Westerville, Ohio, in this home where he has lived his entire life of nearly 68 years. Mr. Schrock passed away at 6:30 p.m. on June 14, 1946 in White Cross hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
His early education consisted of the facilities and training obtained in the little red school house near his home.
A much larger education was obtained from the experience and wisdom of a long and useful life. He was widely known for his practical mechanical ability.
Herbert, was he was called by his many friends was a highly practical christian man. Love, kindness, and devotion to his highest idea of duty are some of his many virtues.
The memory of his beautiful ideal and exemplary life will endure longer than the hammered bronze or chiseled marble.
