HENRY WOLF
SUCCUMBS TO A
HEART ATTACK

Stores will Close an
Hour Friday During
Funeral Services

Westerville was saddened Tuesday by the sudden death of Henry Wolf, age 74, prominent business man, who died in White Cross Hospital, a few hours after suffering a heart attack at his store, 8 East Main street. Feeling in usual health, Mr. Wolf sat transacting business with a salesman in his office when he felt a severe pain which caused him to fall forward in his chair. After summoning a physician, he was rushed by ambulance to the hospital, but he never regained consciousness.
Several months ago Mr. Wolf was treated for a gall bladder ailment, but was restored to health and he was conducting his business as usual until stricken on Tuesday.
A native of Pomeroy, Ohio, Mr. Wolf moved his family to Westerville in 1910 from Murray City, where he was owner of a meat and grocery store. For the past 34 years, he was actively engaged here in the meat and grocery business. He was a Mason, and membership in the Business Men's association and the Presbyterian church.
Funeral services will be conducted by his pastor, Rev. Murray Drysdale, at 2 p. m. Friday, in the Westerville Presbyterian church. Friends may call at the residence, 75 West Park street after 4 p. m., Thursday and until 1 p. m., Friday, when the body will be removed to the church and lie in state one hour. All stores will be closed from 2 to 3 o'clock. Burial will be in the Otterbein Mausoleum by Fichner Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Barbara Wolf; four daughters, Mrs. Golda Gantz and Mrs. Edith Cheek of Westerville; Mrs. Esther Mulzer of Van Nuys, Calif.; and Mrs. Ruth Gates of Leominster, Mass.; two half brothers, Lewis Wolf of Columbus and Walter Wolf of Pomeroy; seven grandchildren. Mrs. Mulzer had visited her parents for two months this spring, having returned to California the middle of May. Mrs. Gates and daughters, who have been visiting here, had planned to return home today.
