Clair H. Walker, 58, president of the Home Savings Co., for the past 14 years and a member of the Walker & Hanover Hardware Co., died at his home, 24 Plum St., Tuesday night following an extended illness.
Services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Methodist Church by Rev. W. L. Steffens. The body will lie in state in the church for one hour previous to the time of services. Burial will be made in Otterbein Mausoleum in charge of K. R. Fichner.
Mr. Walker had been in business in Westerville for 31 years, the firm formerly being known as Bale and Walker. He was a member of the Methodist Church and was treasurer of the board of trustees at the time of his death. He was also a 32nd degree Mason.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alta May Walker; one son, Edwin Walker; one grandson and one granddaughter.
