GLADYS LAKE MICHAEL
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Church of the Master United Methodist, Grove and W. Main streets, with Dr. Joel S. Baer and Dr. M. J. Miller officiating, for Gladys Lake Michael, 89, of Otterbein Home, Lebanon, formerly of Westerville.
She was a 1919 graduated of Otterbein College and a Girl Scout leader of Troop #48. She originated and taught the junior church class at the Church of The Master United Methodist.
She was past president of United Methodist Women, a member of the Tau Delta Sorority, Group International Relations, and Otterbein Women's Club.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dr. Lyle J. Michael, who was retired from Otterbein College (1937-1964), chairman of the chemistry department.
Survived by nephew, Robert W. Lake, Blue Eye, Mo., and several cousins.
Memorial donations will be accepted for the Michael-LeMay Scholarship Fund, Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio 43081, or the Otterbein Home, Lebanon, Ohio.
