Academics
Promotion Requirements
Students in grades six, seven, and eight must pass four subjects with a minimum grade of 70. These subjects include language arts, math, science, and social studies. Connection courses can affect promotion. Excessive absences (more than 20) will also affect promotion.
Student Grading
Coffee County Schools use numerical grades for all academic and Connection courses in grades 6 - 8. These grades are as followed:

Homework Hotline
Parents, you may keep track of your child's class and homework assignments daily by calling the homework Hotline at 383-4194 or 383-4195. After dialing, you will hear a welcome message from Mr. Street. At the prompt, simply dial the code for the teacher's homework that you wish to hear or dial the code to leave a teacher a message. The list of codes may be found on the Hotline Page.
