Student Program

Please check this area each week for any changes in the training schedule.

The Western Scots Pipe Band is actively seeking piping and drumming students 10 years and older for individual and class instruction from the Greater Victoria area. Candidates for our teaching program should have a desire, and the commitment to learn the highland arts.

Classes are structured from beginners to the experienced, through a series of structured classes. The goal of our program is for our students to acquire the necessary skills to become a performing member of the Western Scots Pipe Band. Instruction is by the senior members of the band, each of whom has many years of highland arts teaching experience.

Contact the band for more information. There is an email link at the bottom of this page.

Classes are on the scheduled Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the band practice location. Private lessons can also be arranged.
