THE NUDE : PUBLIC ART
The sculpture 'Family' [Timothy Duffield, 1981] is located on the north side of Market St. between 18th and 19th. It's four blocks West of City Hall, three blocks South of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia PA.
My Photo of this sculpture expresses how I have felt about my family in the past. Time and distance does heal much. All the Photos were taken with the self-timer on my camera and using a tripod .

The Swann Memorial Fountain [Alexander Stirling Calder, 1924] is in the middle of Logan Circle. It consists of three large pieces [nude native Americans, I think, in reclining poses] representing the Delaware, the Schuylkill and the Wissahickon Rivers, plus a number of frogs and turtles. The fountain is on during the summer and is visible from both ends of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia PA.
My photo of this fountain/sculpture was taken very early in the morning, so the fountain was not 'on' which gave it a wonderful reflective quality. Check the 'philart.net/' link below to see the fountain 'on'.
