The Lambda Health Alliance is a student-faculty group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (GLBT) people in the medical community. Each year, Lambda sponsors various social events to bring GLBT and straight students together from the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Physicians' Associate Program, and the School of Epidemiology and Public Health. While Lambda is primarily a social organization, we also organize educational events, discussion groups, and guest lectures. Past programs have covered such topics as coming out issues in residency applications and benefits for same-sex couples at Yale. We can assist in arranging future visits/overnight stays for prospective students.
