This is the obituary that ran in the Sacramento Bee on Sundy, October 17th, 2004. I cannot tell you how hard it was to lose such a good friend, and such a gentle man. Both Mark and I feel such an empty void where David's presence was in our hearts. Even though his memory is still with us, it pains me everyday to know that I will not see that kind smile. I know that Mark's loss is even greater, they had been friends for approximately 12 years, and roommates for most of that time as well. I know how much I hurt at David's absence, I can only imagine that for Mark, its ten times worse. I have written this on Monday October 18th at 2:30am. I will try to update this as I can. Even know, its hard to see, and my chest hurts.
