20 VRT Vicars & Tarts Party The idea of the Vicars and Tarts party is simple. All the male guests go as a female avatar and the women go as a male avatar. In other words; cross dressing, but you are even expected to behave in accordance with your role. Note that we are not condoning sexism, but rather view this event as a mock of the unfortunately common portrayals of women as seductresses, as well as other stereotypes. So camp it up, guys! :)
Vicars (female guests) will attend as the Harold avatar, acting sort of prudish or nerdy. Tarts (male guests) will attend as the Tanya avatar, acting like a woman of the night.
If you are not a registered user of Active Worlds, you will not have the opportunity to switch to any of these two avatars, but we still like you to join the party:) Come as the opposite sex, MrTourist or MsTourist. You can still behave as described above.
