My real name is Laura E. Turner, my alter ego is Jaxom M. Summers I'll explain him later. In my short 20 years of life I have been through quite alot; but now that I look back at it all whether good or bad I wouldn't change any of my experinces for any thing else. They all make me the person I am today. For once in my life I am living my life the way I want to, I am happy with who I am, what I do, and where I came from to be who I am now.

I live in Cape Girardeau, MO right now but grew up in Oak Ridge and graduated from Jackson High School in 1998. During high school my main interest where music, art, drama, books, chorus and hanging out with my three best friends at the time; NiJeatte, Kelly and Katreen. I wasn't much of the popular side but all I cared about was graduating and getting out of school (w/out my best friends me graduating would never have happened) now I wish that I would have had a little more school spirit, because now I miss all the people I didn't get to know like I could have.

My life since high school has made a major change, and my only tie to the past is my friendship to Kelly, we still remain close allthough NiJeatte, Katreen and I have not, but I do understand why. In November of 98 I started to go to Independance Place, one of Cape's two gay bars. In late November early December I came out and started to date Stacie. I have become a male impersonater performing as Jaxom Mikal Summers, my first performance was on Dec 18, 1998 in the Studly Santa Pagent. I placed 1st Runner up and won the congineality award. In May of 1999 I enterd the Mr Independence Place pagent and won 2nd Runner Up and Interview. In May of 2000 I entered Mr I.P. again and this time won my first title. (I won interview and Talent) Without the support, and encouragement of Stacie, Todd, Sasha, Billy or Nikki - Jaxom would have never been born, thank you guys I love you all very much.

I'm now dating Katie, a full time student at SEMO. When not found with her I'm in front of the tube watching MTV trying to find new songs to perform or new dance moves to use on stage. I also love to watch sports, pro football and college hoops are my fave to try and catch. Favorite teams include: Packers, Cowboys and Broncos, Kentucky and North Carolina. I street skate and skate board in the summer but wish I could vert skate. Latley through knee trouble I have been some what sidelined and enjoy filming my friends and taking photos. I also enjoy a friendly game of hoops, roller hockey, soccer and mud, sand, or regular indoor volley ball.

I have recently started a collection of die cast metal cars, all being navy blue or blue and grey or white and blue.

I also love tigers and cartoons, which is shown by my living room walls in my apartment. My favorite cartoon characters are Speedy Gonzalez, Ernie of Sesame Street, Dill and Tommy Pickles of the Rugrats, Garfield, Sneezer of Tiny Toons and Roo from Winnie the Pooh oh and Tigger too!
