ROCK TRACKSTom McCormack / Love Is Love
Producer: Steve Sandberg/Tom McCormack
Writer: T. McCormack
Publisher: Spotted Dog, ASCAPOpenly gay troubadour issues a wake-up call to prejudiced minds with this funky uptempo number from his notable album "Missing." It's not the strongest tune from the album, but its message is put forth in an unplifting, easy-going manner that could actually affect a few - and that makes its release completely worthy. The best bet for airplay is on alternative and college radio.

ROCK TRACKS - CRITIC'S PICKTom McCormack / Coming
Producer: Steve Sandberg/Tom McCormack
Writer: T. McCormack
Publisher: Spotted DogOpenly gay singer/songwriter offers a well-crafted slice of life outside the closet. Perhaps the most striking aspect of the song is that its emotion and message of internal truth and bravery could be applied to a variety of situations. Maybe that is the most important point McCormack has to deliver. Politics and philosophy aside, McCormack has an appealing vocal style and a clever way of turning phrases that should interest alternative, album rock, and even AC programmers.
