Boy & the Butterfly
Color creations of miracle madness
Kaleidescope fortunes
A spectrum of splendor
A rainbow rebirth
Born of the earth
And flying above in the blueness
A gliding, drifting --
On tiptoe below he runs, sliding
Lifting his life to the wind
Beginning again he runs
Chasing a butterfly's dream
Seeing the world in a sunbeam
And laughing
He watches the wings make their way thru a windsong
A butterfly god in a world where butterflies don't belong
Singing a song of joy
His arms only reaching until fascination
He flies as he falls inside imagination
Then descends from the sky
To rest by his side
And images found in a painting may lead you to wonder
Why children will often times smile at the thunder
Their laughter a prayer
A song on the air of joy
