Tom McCormack / MissingIf Tracy Chapman were a gay man she might make an album like Missing. Sensitive lyrics and sharp arrangements combine with McCormack's sultry voice and seductive piano to give an emotional punch to much of Missing. A couple of the 10 songs are less than memorable, but most resonate solidly. Sophisticated and skillful. Should register with fans of contemporary folk-pop.
