Missing / Tom McCormackMcCormack has a good folk/rock voice and heartfelt delivery.
All the songs are written and performed by McCormack. An example from Missing, "In Secret" says that lovers should never have to hide, "I want to get carried away in the light of day / if it takes a lifetime."
There are selections from this cd that will become standards in homes that support gay-positive music. I thought the background on some of the songs overwhelmed the message: let the lyrics shout, not the background. McCormack's most effective songs rely on simplicity, lyrics and melody.
