Article 5 - Organizational Structure
5.01 The Society shall conduct business through the Executive, which shall consist of no less than four (4) positions elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting, the Emperor and Empress, two (2) positions appointed by the Emperor and Empress and two (2) members of the College of Monarchs who shall be appointed by the College of Monarchs by a letter of appointment.
5.02 The Executive positions elected by the general membership shall be the:
i. Chairperson
ii. Co-Chairperson
iii. Recording/Corporate/Membership Secretary
iv. Treasurer
5.03 The Executive positions appointed by the Emperor and Empress shall be the:
i. Social Convenor
ii. Coronation Co-Ordinator
5.04 Appointments to the Executive by the Emperor and Empress shall be subject to ratification by a vote of the Executive.
5.05 Executive members shall hold office until a new Executive is elected at a duly constituted Annual General Meeting to be held not more than forty-five (45) days after the date of the annual Coronation night.
5.06 All business of the previous Executive must be completed and turned over to the new Executive not more than forty-five (45) days after the date of the annual Coronation night.
5.07 The Emperor and Empress shall be elected in an election by residents living within the boundaries governed by The Imperial Court of Hamilton-Wentworth to be held within ten 10) days prior to the annual Coronation night.
5.08 Any Emperor and Empress who has been impeached during their reign shall be deemed to have not completed their reign.
