Virtually Real
{short description of image}

Welcome to my retreat on the web. Although I'm a complicated person this is a relatively simple site as far as web technology goes. No frames, no music, and very little in the way of special effects. This is mainly because I don't want the style to get in the way of the content, but I also want the result to be accessible to a wide range of browsers, not just the latest offering from Microsoft. Time will tell if I succeed.

I put this site together for a number of reasons. Partly for fun and self education; partly to be able to have something I could point people to and say "this is me"; and partly in the hope that it might help others who are in a similar situation to know that they are not alone. Since I live in the UK some of the material contained here will reflect this fact and may confuse visitors from overseas. Sorry about that.

I don't have any brilliant insights into my condition, but since I stopped trying to deny my feelings in the first half of 1997 Alison has become an increasingly important part of me. One which needs to find expression and interact with others in order to truly exist.

So if you want to know more about me and my world, follow the links below.

e-mail Feel free to e-mail me. I will get round to replying, but please be patient.
