About
Just Jeff
Hello
and welcome. I will attempt to shed a bit of light on who I am.
As you have probably figured out already my name is Jeff. I was born
on November 15, 1966, so that would make me a Scorpio. I grew up
in a rural farming town in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada with an older
sister and brother and one younger brother. My parents divorced when
I was 11 and I spent my summers with my father in Weyakwin, Saskatchewan.
This is the place I now call home, even though none of our family presently
lives in Weyakwin. It is a small northern community of 120 and is
surrounded by forest and lakes. The next closest community is 60
miles (100km) away. Nice place to escape to. After high school
graduation I worked in a number of fields ranging from the Canadian Navy
to building log homes. In 1989 I decided to attend post-secondary
education. I have completed a program in Recreation & Liesure
Management and then went onto university. While in university I studied
Sociology and Psychology. I am presently completing an Honours Degree
in Sociology.
My interests include an avid love for the outdoors and I frequently return to our cabin in Northern Saskatchewan. One of my favourite past times is hanging out at the local coffee shop and talking with people. I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their life experiences. I believe that is where most knowledge comes from. And of course, the internet has managed to consume a fair bit of my waking time.
As far as political views, I am very much an idealist and socialist. I believe that all people if given the chance will behave in kind and caring manner. These views pretty much govern how I interact with others. I tend to overtrust which gets me into trouble at times, but I feel that is a small price to pay to hold a postive view of humanity.
Oh yeh, for those that are wondering I date men. You could say I am "gay", but I don't like the use of labels. All my family and friends know and it isn't an issue as far as I am concerned.
I guess if you want to know more you will have
to e-mail me and ask. Thanks for stopping by and may our paths some
day cross.
