Thank you for coming in.

I am Tunzi, a Congo African Grey parrot. I own a human named Roger. Roger is the nicest guy in the world, he feeds me the best seed and the best fruits and veggies. He makes sure that I have plenty of toys to play with. He is successful giving and compassionate. I am lucky to have him.

My uncle Tanner and decided to put up this site for him. I would be doing the site myself but it's too hard to type with this beak.

More about Roger, I met Roger a while back at a place called Bracken bird farm. I was lucky enough to catch his eye when he, uncle Tanner and Aunt Nicci came in looking at birds. I had been promised to another couple who never came in to get me.

So there I was feeling really lonely, rejected and totally alone. I just wanted to sit in the back of my cage and be left alone (rejection is a hard thing). The woman who gave me my feedings came and pulled me out of the cage, I didn't want to go but she took me regardless of what I wanted. I fought, believe me I fought. I grabbed the sides of the cage with my beak, I flapped my wings to no avail. It seemed that she being larger than I gave her the belief that her will was more importiant than mine. Well, there I am wrapped in a towell being carried (I could have flown if they hadn't clipped my wings) to some strangers. They held me, talked to me telling me how pretty I am (ok I'm handsome but how were they to know I was male?)

So a few weeks later here am. A new home, lots of toys, and plenty of friends to chat with and preen thier hair. I am a really lucky bird. Who would have thought?

Soon we will be getting some pictures up so come back! You'll be able to hear recordings of me talking (when I learn) and see Roger and I hanging out with our friends. I'll have links to other cool places on the web and perhaps be trying to hook Roger up with a really nice guy, he deserves it!!!!
