Page 1 contained the usual editorial with a request for more articles as well as the comment of the pleasure at meeting other members during their visit to the Editors home town of Blackpool during the Annual Illuminations.

On page 4 came a picture of a team of policemen who competed in the 1998 London Marathon. This page also contained a spoof (surely it cannot be real?) Redneck Sexual Knowledge Test.

On page 14 came a form asking readers to fill in the deatils so that we can update our Directory of Kit Suppliers.
As the editor can confirm it is very annoying when visiting places to go to an address listed in our directory only to find the shop no longer exists or has moved.
We would ask any readers of these pages if they too would be so kind as to

email us

with any information concerning any Surplus/Disposal/Uniform Shops which they know of whether they are within the UK or not as we do include abroad as well.
We would like to have the following info:

Shop Name. . . . . . . . . .Address. . . . . . . . . . .Phone/Fax number

Opening times. . . . . . . . . .and what sort of items they stock

Page 15 has a superb picture of Derby XXXVI the living mascot of the Worcester and Sherwood Foresters with two of his handlers in full dress uniforms.

Due to an incident at the 1998 ECMC Conference where, due to our Constitution, our representatives did not have a mandate to vote on a certain last minute motion a certain bigoted individual from another, now seemingly isolated MSC Club, has blown everything totally out of perspective and proportion, and the reasons for his over the top reactions must be questioned. Here the full facts behind our reps stand are fully laid out.

followed by some Things To Ponder

If a deaf person swears, does his mother wash his hands with soap?

Is there another word for synonym?

Why did kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

How do they get deer to cross at the road sign?

Battle Painting

The following two pages contain a picture of a Ceremonially dressed Guardsman at Brixton, London, during a recruitment campaign as well as two British Cop pictures to balance the US Cop centre spread ones.
