MEDITATION
From Love we were made.
On passions waves our spirit sparked and down we came into our
mothers.....mater...matter....
The pull of love calling us, deep into the Earth
As deep into the mother father pushed
Deep into the womb, we crawled - the warm dark womb of Earth and water
The womb of love - safe, dark, cradled, quiet
We grow...........
The love we experience at the level of the heart chakra is distinctly different from the more sexual and passionate love of the second chakra. Sexual love is object oriented - the passion is stimulated and dictated by the presence of a person, place or thing, empty in their absence.
At the fourth chakra the love is no longer object dependent - the love we feel is felt toward everything we encounter, because it is felt within as a state of being. At the heart, our love is no longer one of need or desire. Hopefully, through the force of will, our needs have been fulfilled or transcended. Instead, love at the heart chakra is one of joyous acceptance of our place among all things, of a deep peace that comes from lack of need, and of a radiating quality that comes from harmony within the self.
It is interesting to note that the heart chakra, #4 falls right in the center of the three lower and three upper chakras. Not merely implying it's importance, but also accentuating the need for love, divine love of self, to be the center of our lives. Bringing correct intent and balance into every arena of experience.
