For a
deity to possess the necessary ability
to govern the universe, it would seem to be a prerequisite to
be omniscient and, as a consequence of that, omnipresent, in order
that all things can be observed. I would propose that for a deity
to be omniscient and omnipresent, the divine would also have to
be everything, as, in order to be omnipresent, the
"deity" would also have to be inside and outside of
everything existing in the universe. As a result, we are left
with no real way of knowing the intent of a trans-dimensional
entity with whom we share reality, except from observed phenomena
within our conceptions of space and time, which may correlate in
some unknown manner to another plane of existence or another
dimension. It would stand to reason that if the universe was
initiated in some unknown manner, but from a common source, then
everything has a common origin in that initial explosion of such
magnitude that it somehow marked the beginning of time as well as
the dispersion of matter and space. This notion of interconnectedness would correlate with the idea that all things are
actually a part of something
omnipresent that may or may not also
exist outside of our limited ability to perceive.
