ITO can only grow and/or expand what we are able to offer through the help of our
greater community. Here are some other ideas for being a part:
Research
Procedures and policies for changing name - additional qualified therapists, additional information
on procedures/policies, passports, social security numbers, etc.
Legal resources around the state - contacts, providers in the areas of documentation, civil rights,
family law.
Medical resources - providers throughout the state, especially in the rural areas, doctors, mental
health providers, youth specialists.
Education
ITO participates on various panels focused on helping people become more aware
of trans persons and the issues they face. If you are interested you can send an email
