LaPintada is an indigenous Chorti-Maya village. Residents are subsistence farmers and extra income comes from the sale of corn husk dolls. The village is about an 1 1/4 hour horseback ride from the Town of Copan Ruinas. There are sweeping panoramas of the valley below including the Mayan ruins. |
