~* Rum Cake *~
The REAL thing!

CAKE INGREDIENTS

1 BOX YELLOW CAKE MIX
1/2 CUP SALAD OIL
1/2 CUP RUM "LIGHT & DRY"
3 & 3/4 OZ. BOX INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING
1/2 CUP WATER
4 EGGS

Mix first 5 ingredients together and beat well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Pour batter into a greased and floured Bunt or Tube Pan.
Bake 1 hour.
Remove cake from oven.
Poke holes in cake with Ice-pick or simular object.
Pour Glaze over cake while it is still in the pan.
Completely cool cake before removing it from the pan.
Cake ages well and may be made days in advance.
Also freezes well.

RUM GLAZE

Prepare Glaze 15 minutes before cake is done.

1 CUP SUGAR
1/2 CUP BUTTER
1/4 CUP RUM "LIGHT & DRY"
1/4 CUP WATER

Combine ingredients in pan and boil gently for 1 minute.

It is Mouth-Watering Delicious!
