The Titans:

Be careful what you chant. Gabrielle unwittingly releases three Titans by reading from an ancient scroll. Xena cautions that the gods may have had good reason to encase these  giants in stone, but Gabrielle dismisses this warning as " too cynical", untill their leader, Hyperion, demands that she free hundreds of other Titans for a revolt against the gods. When Xena stands against Hyperion, he threatens to wipe out everyone in a village unless they surrender her. But after evading Hyperion's grasp, Xena traps him just long enough for Gabrielle to recite a second chant that turns the Titans back into stone.       Take a look at the episode images...
