if I let you go (3)

chapter four

Few days passed and, the day that those children were planned to meet Westlife came.

'Come on!' Karen pulled Melody.

'It's sooo early, Karen.' Melody said slowly.

'But I have to dress up.' Karen pulled Melody onto a car.

'Whose car is this??' Melody asked.

'My Dad's.' Karen went on and drove the car.

'You know driving!!!' Melody was surprised.

'Yeah!'

'...Stop…Where you're carrying me to?'

'My home and then yours.' Karen drove more quickly and moments later, they found themselves in Karen's home. Karen rushed to her room and put out a lot of clothes, dresses...etc.

'What should I wear to attract them?' Karen asked Melody.

'If you want to get their FULL ATTENTION., don't wear anything.'

Karen gave Melody an eye and finally she chose a dress looked really nice to wear. Then she put on some make-up. She ran out of her room. Melody saw her.

'Oops you put on some make-up???!! You look totally like a ghost!'

'Nah...What should I do with my hair?' Karen asked looking at a mirror.

'Anyway you like!' Melody told her. Karen then ran into her room again. Melody started to look at Karen's stereo. A lot of CDs, and something like that. She picked the" Westlife" album and listened to the music. Karen came out with a horrible hairstyle.

'Oh bring the CD for them to sign!' Karen shouted. Melody turned to look at her. She had a HUGE laugh. Karen then gave her a HUGE punch.

'Now bring the CD and go to my home!' Melody said, trying to stop the laugh.

They got on the car again and travelled to Melody's home.

Melody's room was tidy and neat. Even there was a stereo, it seems no one would use it. Melody quickly changed and brought all the things needed.

The two then drove away to the town hospital.

Doctor Carter was chatting about something like Pokemon with the children when the two girls arrived.

'Hi Dorothy you look so nice today,' Melody hugged Dorothy.

'You too!' Dorothy switched to a smaller volume. 'Who's that girl?' Dorothy pointed to Karen.

'She's my friend. Her name is Karen.' Melody told her.

'She looks terrible.' Dorothy whispered.

'Shhh.....'Melody warned, 'She'll kill you.'

Dorothy poked out her tongue.

'Hi Karen.' Doctor Carter greeted.

'Hi D. Carter.'

'You love Westlife?'

'Yes, very much.'

'That's really good for you, but you look nervous..'

'Yes…I'm...I'm afraid..'

'Juz do the same, Karen.'

'Thanx Doctor Carter.'

'You're welcome.' Doctor Carter replied and he then went to Melody.

'Hi Melody.'

'Hi Doctor Carter. How are you?'

'Fine thanks. Are the children ready?'

'Yes, they can't wait.'

'Good, now I go and contact Westlife on phone.'

'Bye.'

'Well, I'll be right back.'

'........Bye........' Melody laughed. Karen walked to her.

'Melody I think I look extremely bad now. What can I do?'

'Wash your hair and make it back to its original style.'

'No time!!!'

'Then you can do nothing.'

Karen's face turned white. She gave an evil look to everyone in the room.

'Don't worry. You're alright now.' Melody told a lie.

Doctor Carter dealed and dealed again. No one answered his call.

'It's impossible!' Doctor Carter cried.

Minutes later, Doctor Carter came into the children's room. He said nothing. He didn't know what to say.

Hours passed, Melody realized that Westlife would not come. Karen knew she couldn't wait any longer. Karen ran out of the room.

Melody told the children the truth.

'Doctor Carter told lies! I hate him!' Dorothy yelled, crying.

'Dorothy don't say that!' Melody wanted to stop her.

All the children were disappointed.

'Just like the last time.' Melody mumbled.
