No, it was not what you think. They did not stay in bed for the rest of the day. Wouldn't be polite would it? By the time it was twelve o'clock they came downstairs, both with a very special look on their face. The whole family was gathered around the tree, unwrapping their presents. "Aha! Thought you guys wouldn't come down anymore today! Here are your pressies! Merry X-mas!!"

"You guys didn't wait up for us did you?" Everyone started to laugh. "If we had done that we would have to wait a very long time. We just had breakfast that's all; but you can do that later." Patricia handed out the presents for Es and Kian. They got various things from various people, such as a sweater for Esther and a wristwatch for Ki, but let's see what they gave each other.

"Here you go Kian. Merry Christmas." Kian accepted the box she handed him with a look of surprise on his face. "WOW! I get something else besides that which you already gave me?" She gave him a playful punch. "Shut up will ya?" "Ehhhmm, nope!"

With a smile on his face he opened the box and saw there was a black sweater in it. "Calvin... You are sooo crazy!!!!! You didn't have to do that!!" She started to sing to him. "You drive me crazy, I just can't sleep... Happy?" "YEAH!!" He pulled her tight in his arms again and kissed her, causing an "ahhhh" with the spectators.

"I've got something for you too you know..." He handed her a velvet box. She could only guess what was in there. "Ki, this sure looks expensive!" After looking at it for a while, trying to figure out what was in there, she opened the box.

Esther nearly fainted when she saw what was in there. "Oh my god!!! oh my god..." In the box was an exact copy of the Titanic jewel, the heart of the ocean. She didn't know what to say. Kian looked at her face and saw the glow on it. He decided it was more than worth it. After all... "Thank you oh so much!!!"

He put it on her and took the mirror. "Looks great! Especially since you're still wearing you nighty to go with it." She smiled at him and kissed him. The kiss startled Kian a bit. He'd never been kissed like that before... "Baby, I'll run back to the jewellery store to get you another one if you promise to kiss me like that again." She rubbed her nose against his. "All you have to do is ask..." They kissed again. The second "ahhh" followed soon after...
