chapter one

"Hey! Jessica, I'm here!" I shouted as I ran towards my friend, Jessica. "Finally! I've been waiting' for the past hour already. Where have you been?" "Sorry, I missed the bus" I managed to choke out the words as I tried to catch my breath.

We are at the airport waiting' for the arrival of Westlife. I've not been sleeping well 'cos I'm really excited, having the thoughts that I'll be meeting Westlife soon. "Are they here yet?" I ask as I look around the airport, hoping' to catch a glance of the five gorgeous Irish guys...or perhaps some other good looking guys also. "Nope, no sign of them. Besides, we are VERY early! It's only 9 and they wouldn't be here till 1.30."

I turned around to look at Jessica. She looked around the airport with her dark brown eyes. Occasionally, I noticed a few passers-by looking at her. Her silky black hair shines under the lights. She is my best friend in school though sometimes I would hate her for her hair. Still, she's nice.

"Hey! Since they are not here yet, can we find some place to sit? My legs are aching." Jessica said, sounding irritated. She is not the patient sort and she is not a mega fan of Westlife. I have had a hard time persuading her to come along with me.

" Well, I guess it's alright." I said reluctantly. Jessica and I walk over to the restrooms. "I can't wait to see them." I jump up and down, unable to control my excitement. " Hey! Keep still, I don't want to be seen around with a mad girl!" I ignored her words and continued jumping around. "Nicky, Nicky! Here I cooooooommmmmeeeee..."

"YOLANDA! LOOK OUT!" Jessica shouted as she pointed her fingers towards me. I turned around. "OUCH!" I had bumped into someone. I landed on the floor on top of that someone. "Oops! I'm so sorry!" I stammered, feeling very embarrassed. "It's ok. Are you alright?" The guy asked with a soft Irish accent. " Yeah, I'm fine." I looked over at Jessica who is staring at me and her mouth wide open. "Hey! Come on over and help me up!" Jessica just stood there rooted to the ground. I was about to say something again but that same Irish voice spoke. "Here." He let out his arm for me to grab, which I readily and embarrassedly accepted. I held on to the arm as the guy pulled me up. I managed to say a "Thank you" to the guy. I was about to turn around to Jessica when I saw the guy for the first time. " Bryan?" "Yeah, I'm Bryan, hi! You are?" He said, looking very uncomfortable. "I...I...I. am...Yo...Yo.. Land... Landa... YOLANDA!"
