‘Ehh, ehh, sorry, Bry. I won’t disturb you’, Kian said and closed the door again.

Jenny and Bryan looked at each other and then Bryan ran after Kian.

‘Ki….’

‘…and there was…’ Kian already stood with Shane and Nicky and telling them what he had seen.

‘KIAN! I need to talk to you’ Bryan shouted and pulled Kian with him into his room.

Nicky and Shane followed but Bryan had already locked the door behind them.

‘Kian you can’t tell the other about Jen and me.’

‘So there is a you then?’

‘Yes…or no…. I don’t know. That’s why you can’t tell them. Not yet anyway. Please do me this favour. It would mean the world to me’, Bryan pleaded.

‘OK. But I can’t guarantee how long I can sit on this. You know what we agreed….’

‘Yeah, yeah. But you won’t tell then, I owe you one. Big time.’

While Shane and Nicky stood at Bryan’s door trying to hear what they said in there Mark and I came up in the elevator.

‘It’s been a wonderful night, Mark. I hate to see it end here.’

‘Me too, but I guess we don’t have much choice.’

He kissed me and we walked into the corridor hand in hand. When Mark saw the others standing there he quickly let go of my hand. I looked surprised at him but he didn’t look at me instead he was looking right ahead trying not to look at me. It hurt my feelings but I didn’t say anything.

‘What’s up guys?’ Mark asked.

‘Schuss’, they said. ‘We’re trying to hear what they’re saying in there.’

My heart stopped beating for a moment. Could it be Jenny and Bryan in there that they were eavesdropping on?

‘It’s Bry and Ki. Ki was just telling us something when Bry interrupted him and pulled him in there,’ Shane whispered.

‘What was he saying?’ I asked as normal as I could.

‘Donno. He didn’t get that far. Quick! Act normal, I think they’re coming out.’

When Kian came out everybody watched him, waiting for Kian to say anything about what had happened.

‘Well, what happened? Nicky said.

‘What? Nothing, he just wanted to talk a little, Kian said as he walked towards his room.

Shane and Nicky looked suspiciously at each other like they didn’t get what just had happened. Shane turned around to Mark who stood next to Anna and asked if he were coming since they shared room.

‘Sure, Mark said and followed Shane in to the room after he had whispered to Anna that he wanted to see her later.

Nicky went in to Bryan and his room while Anna went in to Jenny.
