| Chapter 4 "Becki! Kian!" Rachel said dumbfounded, as was Shane who was standing next to her. Becki pulled away from Kian's embrace, feeling her face turning red. But through it all Kian remained calm. "You guys are back early" Kian said trying to make conversation. "Emmm, yeah. We got the presant for my sister quickly and we decided to come back here straight away" "Oh right...well do you want something to drink?" Becki asked still feeling a bit embaressed. "No that's ok. Anyway, me and Kian better head back home. We have an early job in the morning" Shane said thinking it would be better to get out of here and talk to Kian privately. "Oh...ok...if you must" Rachel said disappointed. She wanted Shane to stay but she knew he wanted to go. Shane and Kian walked next door to their house in silence. As soon as they entered the kitchen Shane spoke. Bryan was out with Kerry while Nicky and Mark were doing what they do best, watch TV. "Kian do you..." Shane started. "I don't wanna hear it Shane" Kian said sharply. "I just wanna make sure you know what your doing...with Becki" "How can you say that, when you spent the whole day with Rachel?" Kian shouted bitterly. Nic and Mark heard Kia shout and raced into the kitchen to see what was up. "That's totally different and you know it!" Shane shouted back. "Hey guys what the hell is going on here?" Nicky said. Himself and Mark were both surprised to find Shane and Kian fighting. "Shall I tell them?" Shane said accusingly. "What's there to tell Shane?" Kian replied. "That you kissed Becki!" Shane said accusingly. Mark and Nic just stared blankly at Kian. "What?!" Kian shouted at them. Surprising all of them with the harshness of his voice. "What have I done wrong? I only kissed her for chirst's sake!" Kian was getting fed up of their accusing stares. "Look mate" Nic started. "Just be careful. Becki just got of a serious and hurtful relationship. She can't be messed about" "You think I'm going to mess her about?" Kian asked them dumbfounded. "It'll be hard not to Ki. She doesn't know about Westlife and you know yourself that we move around alot" Mark said, trying to make Kian see sense. "This is different" Kian said defsively. "No offence but we've heard that before" Shane said quietly. It was an awful thing to say about your best mate but it was the truth. "Oh have ye now? Well have ye heard this before...I love Becki, ok. I'm in love with Becki!" This left Shane, Mark and Nicky all in shock. Kian was shaking but he hid it well. He actually did love her. He just hoped that she felt the same. "Kian are you sure?" Shane asked. "I'm so surer about this.....even so I'm going to tell her everything now" Kian said and quickly walked out of the house before any one of them could stop him. "So.....what the hell happened when I was gone?" Rachel asked. She was curious to find out, extremely curious. "Nothing really" Becki replied with a slight smile upon her face. "How can you say that? I caught the two of ye in deep mouth to mouth action. Hardly nothing" Rachel said laughing at the use her own words. "You really have a way with words Rach" Becki replied laughing. "Well what ever it was it must have been good!" "Why?" Becki asked slightly confused. "Because this is the first time I've seen you laugh or smile since..."Rach trailed off unsure whether to continue. "Since Duncan. I know but it's great isn't it?" Becki smiled again. "Yes, yes it is" Rachel laughed and gave Becki a hug. "Rachel" Becki said all of a sudden as they pulled away from each other. "What?" "I love him. Kian, I love him" Becki said eagarly waiting Rach's reaction. "What?" Rach replied with a smile. Becki let out a sigh of relief. "Does he know that?" "Yes.....and he loves me" Becki said smiling. She couldn't help but. "Oh hun, I'm so happy for you!" Rach squeled with delight and gave Becki a massive hug. Kian stood at Becki's door. He knew this was the right thing to do. He loves her, she loves him. She deserves the truth. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door. "We should celebrate" Rachel said taking wine from the fridge. "I'll get two glasses" Becki said heading to the kitchen. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "I''l just get that. Here are the glasses" Becki said handing the glasses to Rach and headed out to the door. She opened it and was surprised and happy to find Kian there. She jumped into his arms and kissed him. Kian pulled away. "What's wrong?" She asked curiously. "We have to talk..." |
